Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 21, 2026
Our commitment
Nestling is designed for all caregivers—parents, grandparents, nannies, and partners. We're committed to making our app and website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards.
Accessibility features
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Visible focus indicators on all buttons, links, and form fields.
- Screen reader support: Semantic HTML and ARIA labels throughout. Tested with VoiceOver (iOS) and NVDA (Windows).
- Color contrast: All text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios (≥4.5:1 for normal text, ≥3:1 for large text and UI components).
- Touch targets: Minimum 44×44px tap areas for all buttons and interactive elements.
- Caregiver mode: Toggle in the navigation increases text size by 12% and spacing for easier reading—especially helpful for older caregivers or those with low vision.
- Reduced motion: Respects
prefers-reduced-motionsettings to minimize animations for users who need them. - Resizable text: Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality.
Testing & evaluation
We conduct regular accessibility audits using automated tools (axe, Lighthouse) and manual testing with assistive technologies. We also seek feedback from users with disabilities to identify and fix issues.
Known limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may still need improvement:
- Beta features (like Cry Insights) may have evolving accessibility as we refine them.
- Third-party integrations (e.g., video players) may not be fully under our control.
We're actively working to address these and welcome your feedback.

Conformance status
Nestling aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This means we follow best practices for:
- Perceivable content (text alternatives, captions, adaptable layouts)
- Operable interfaces (keyboard access, enough time to interact, navigable)
- Understandable content (readable text, predictable behavior, input assistance)
- Robust markup (compatible with assistive technologies)
